Hello Glenwood Families! I hope you're all enjoying the beautiful Midwestern fall weather! I know I have no complaints—these last few warm days here in Illinois have been absolutely perfect, especially for someone like me who loves warm weather. The students are loving it too! They’ve been able to go outside every day without jackets, and it's such a joy to see them playing, laughing, and enjoying time together. We all know the colder days are ahead, so we’re soaking up every moment of sunshine while we can.

Diverse Learner Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Disability Presentation Jan. 22

The Waukegan Community Unit School District’s Diverse Learner Department will host an online presentation next month, designed to provide DL families with an overview of Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Disability. SSI is a federal program administered by the Social Security Administration (SSA) that provides monthly cash payments to people aged 65 or older, or who are blind or have a disability, who have limited income and resources.
